CHECK OUT RENEGADE’S LATEST EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAILERS
Renegade RV, REV Group’s newest recreation brand, has long been the rebel in the RV industry with a product lineup that brings a little extra swagger to the road trip. But now, thanks to the backing of REV’s emergency division, Renegade’s custom enclosed trailers are finding a niche among the toughest fire crews, law enforcement and emergency response teams. Here are three custom trailer case studies that put Renegade in a trailer-making category all its own:
A COMMANDING EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAILER
Needing a central command station, Orange County Fire Authority Tasked Renegade with building a 46-foot emergency response trailer that can carry extra equipment, including a UTV fire unit, while providing a mobile center for mission control and crew rehab with plenty of remote power. And like Orange County’s other emergency response vehicles, the crew required quick set up of their new custom trailer.

AN EXTREMELY TACTICAL CUSTOM WORK TRAILER
Meanwhile, the Sparks Police in Nevada enlisted Renegade to build a custom work trailer for its SWAT team to transport mission-specific equipment to the scene. Needing a base operations center, the Sparks Police wanted their trailer to be functional yet comfortable while providing easily accessible storage. Renegade put its innovative touch on this 34-foot custom work trailer to make sure it would get the job done.

A ROVING EMERGENCY RESPONSE CENTER
Committed to responding to natural disasters in a timely fashion, the Mississippi State Department of Health looked to Renegade to provide an additional emergency response center to their fleet — 44-foot custom gooseneck trailer each designed for different functions. Built with a command office, conference room and sleeping quarters, the trailer’s flexible design can be easily re-outfitted for short or long stays.

For long stays:
“We’ve been making custom trailers for 20 years now, so coming up with innovative designs isn’t new for us, but now that we’re a REV brand, we’ve really been able to create new relationships in the fire and ambulance industries thanks to our sister brands,” said Michael Lanciotti, Renegade Vice President and General Manager. “Our emergency response trailers just add to REV’s already robust lineup of emergency vehicles. We’re the perfect complement to an E-ONE or KME fire truck, and let’s not get started with ambulance.”BACK TO NEWS
