Chattanooga Fire Department Orders 10 Spartan Emergency Response Pumpers

BRANDON, SD – Jan. 15, 2025 –  Spartan Emergency Response, a subsidiary of REV Group, Inc., and leading manufacturer of fire apparatus, announces Chattanooga Fire Department in Tennessee has selected Spartan and its authorized dealer, Atlantic Coast Fire Trucks, to provide the city with 10 new custom pumpers.

Chattanooga Fire Department is adding the following Spartan pumpers to update its aging fleet and to accommodate continued growth in the city. This order includes two custom pumpers, four squad pumpers and four S-180 Model 2114 pumpers.

The Four S-180 Pumpers will include the following features:

  • Spartan Metro Star EMFD 10” RR
  • Cummins L9 450 HP engine
  • Waterous CSU 1500 GPM Pump
  • 750-gallon water tank
  • Hard hose bed cover
  • ROM Roll-up doors
  • Front Bumper discharge

 

Top features for the Squad Pumpers will include:

  • Spartan Gladiator EMFD 10’ RR
  • Cummins X12 500 HP engine
  • Waterous CSU 2000 GPM pump
  • 500-gallon water tank
  • Harrison Hydraulic 10 kW generator
  • Full depth rescue compartments
  • Storage for (9) rescue extrication tools

 

Custom Pumpers will include these features:

  • Spartan Metro Star MFD 10” RR
  • Cummins X12 500 HP engine
  • Waterous CSU 2000 GPM Pump
  • 750-gallon water tank
  • 96” wide body for urban streets
  • Hinged Rear Tailboard
  • Special Approach Front Bumper
  • Low hose bed
  • Rear pre-connects
  • 30’-8” overall length
