The RediMedic’s EMS-inspired Design™ is the result of Road Rescue’s close collaboration with first responders to develop ambulances that maximize comfort, functionality and efficiency. Constructed with composite material that resists absorption of bloodborne pathogens, it provides a safer, easier-to-clean environment for EMTs and paramedics and their patients.
CurveForce™ Formed Corners
Road Rescue’s signature formed aluminum body corners utilize proprietary engineering that produces an exceptionally strong corner structure with a clean, smooth, continuous radius. Requiring only one welded seam at each corner, each Road Rescue is designed with 50% fewer seams than most ambulances. This provides strength and reduces corrosion potential while creating a distinctive, well-rounded appearance that commands attention.
MaxForce Mounting System
Using specially designed vinyl silicone isolators that assist in absorbing vibrations from the road, the MaxForce™ Mounting System results in reduced noise and a smooth, comfortable ride for patients and crew. In a collision, the MaxForce Mounting System disperses energy to multiple chassis coupling points.
Per4Max
The RediMedic comes standard with the exclusive Per4Max® multi-point restraint system, giving emergency care providers the ability to buckle in while still performing many of their tasks. Also, the RollTek™ Airbag System, available as an option, helps to protect emergency care providers in the patient compartment in the event of a rollover.

Road Rescue will be part of the Ambulance Marketplace seminar, in addition to their display of two ambulances in Booth #1039.

It is a great opportunity for ambulance decision-makers to get an in-depth update from industry experts. The Flower Mound (Texas) Fire Department unit is a Road Rescue UltraMedic Type 1 ambulance built on a Ford F-550 4 x 4 chassis with a 174” long patient compartment and 72” of headroom, providing additional space for the crew to work. The cab interior has a custom console, and the interior of the patient compartment features electric privacy windows, Rocket® Wi-Fi, a Knox MedVault® for drug storage, a mobile medical cabinet with heating and cooling, a tip out for D cylinder storage built into the bulkhead. The exterior includes an additional AC compressor and Cool-Bar® for optimum crew and patient comfort, Buell Air Horns®, a Buckstop front bumper, Alcoa® aluminum rims, a Plymovent® exhaust tip and SCBA brackets. The Flower Mound ambulance is equipped with a Safety Vision® camera system and a Global Traffic Technologies® Multi-Mode High Priority Opticom™ system, plus exclusive Road Rescue LED strip lighting in the interior and on the exterior rub rails and chevron lighting on the back of the ambulance.
The Road Rescue RediMedic ambulance on display will be a Type 1 Ford F-550 with a 170” module. RediMedic is coming to market soon and will be offered in Type 1 and Type 3 configurations. This ambulance delivers the best of all worlds with an easy-to-spec, preconfigured design to deliver optimal pre-hospital care by maximizing comfort, functionality, and efficiency. Available in Type 1 and Type 3 configurations, RediMedic will deliver the best of all worlds with an easy-to-spec, preconfigured design to deliver optimal pre-hospital care by maximizing comfort, functionality, and efficiency. A Type 1 Ford F-550 with a 170” mod will be on display at FDIC, with Road Rescue gathering emergency care providers’ valuable feedback, prior to the RediMedic formally coming to market.
In addition, Road Rescue will showcase a Type 1 and a Type 3 Road Rescue UltraMedic™ ambulance. The Type 1, Road Rescue UltraMedic is on display courtesy of the Dagsboro (Delaware) Volunteer Fire Company. The ambulance is built on a Ford F-550 chassis and features a 174” mod with stunning graphics, an exterior SCBA/bunker gear compartment, spot and flood lights, a 360-camera system, rub rail lights, chevron lights on the back, and Per4Max® seat belts.
The Type 3, Road Rescue UltraMedic is being shown courtesy of dealer Everest Emergency Vehicles. The ambulance was built on a Ford E-450 chassis with a 170” mod that features Whelen M-Series™ lighting, signature 10” cot lights, ComfortBright™ dome lights – part of Road Rescue’s Brilliance™ Advanced vehicle lighting, a Coolbar, drop skirts on the mod for easier crew access/ergonomics and a 10” recessed bulkhead to maximize storage in the cab.
