Connely, a seasoned leader with 20 years of experience in the fire industry, will be responsible for supporting sales initiatives across all REV Fire brands. He reports directly to Larry Daniels, senior director of sales for REV Fire Group.
Prior to this role, Connely held leadership positions at KME and Spartan ER, and most recently served as the KME Sales Manager for Campbell Supply Company. In addition, he has served for the past 34 years as a volunteer firefighter at his hometown Tamaqua (PA) Fire Department and currently serves as president.

OCALA, Fla – Sept. 28, 2023 – REV Fire Group, comprised of REV Group, Inc. manufacturers of fire apparatus E-ONE®, KME®, Ferrara™, Spartan Fire Chassis™, Spartan Emergency Response®, Smeal™, and Ladder Tower™, has announced it will host the 27th Annual Fire Truck Training Conference (FTTC) October 1-6, 2023 at The Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan.
As the largest and most in-depth combined training symposium and testing event in the nation, FTTC has expanded this year and will incorporate all of The Lansing Center event space. With registration nearly full, approximately 400 first responder driver-operators, technicians, equipment manufacturers, dealers, service center representatives and more from across the U.S., Canada, and Latin America are expected to attend.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn directly from manufacturers, complete certification tests and/or re-certify on EVT standards, as well as network with fellow technicians and driver-operators.
FTTC provides three training tracks with more than 50 individual courses over four days that span repairs of brake systems, roll-up doors, electrical systems, pressure governors, pumps, and more. Attendees of the training seminars can meet with suppliers one-on-one to address specific troubleshooting issues and learn the latest maintenance tips and techniques.
Spartan Emergency Response’s 27-year history with this event reflects REV Fire Group’s commitment to provide first responders with the safest, most effective fire apparatus possible, and to empower them with the skills and knowledge to keep their fleets in service and well maintained.

HOLDEN, LA – July 12, 2023 – Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc., a subsidiary of REV Group® and leading manufacturer of custom-built, heavy-duty fire apparatus, has announced the Corteva Agriscience Fire Department has taken delivery of a Ferrara Inferno® Industrial Pumper.
This multipurpose response pumper will be used for industrial urban interface and petrochemical mutual aid responses. It will be outfitted to respond to such emergencies as petroleum fires, vapor mitigation, Hazmat, medical, technical, and confined space rescue responses.

Robbie Morris, Fire Chief of Corteva’s Fire Department, said he worked closely with Ferrara engineers to develop the pump schematic that is typically seen on much larger industrial pumpers, including capacity for 500 gallons of water, 250 gallons of foam and two independent remote controlled 1250 GPM master streams on top.
“We worked with Ferrara to adjust the parameters of the pumper, so it can effectively respond to and mitigate over 300 worst-case scenarios for which we have mapped out action plans,” Morris said.
“Industrial firefighting has its own set of challenges, and we were honored to work with Corteva to design a configuration to suit its many needs,” said Jim Stover, Sales Manager, Ferrara.

REV Fire Group’s Vector™ will return to FDIC, allowing attendees to see the first North American-style fully electric fire truck. With its 327 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of proven automotive-grade batteries, Vector delivers the longest electric pumping duration in the fire industry, accomplishing all driving and pumping tasks exclusively on electrically generated power. The design also features low battery cell placement, offering a safer, lower center of gravity for enhanced stability while operating.

Inferno HD 100 Platform from DePere (WI) Fire Rescue: Featuring an Inferno LFD chassis with flat roof, this aerial features a 102” wide extruded aluminum body, three-section heavy duty aerial with a 1,250-pound dry tip load, a 300-gallon water tank and 1,500 GPM pump, and an overall length of 48’9”.
Igniter Custom Pumper from Glenrock (WY) Fire Department: Designed on an Igniter LFD chassis with 21” raised roof, this unit features an enclosed top mount pump panel, 1,500 GPM pump, 1,250-gallon water tank, full height rescue style compartments and a Harrison 10KW generator.
