BROOKFIELD, Wis – Sept. 10, 2024 – REV Ambulance Group brands American Emergency Vehicles (AEV), Horton Emergency Vehicles, Wheeled Coach, Road Rescue Emergency Vehicles and Leader Emergency Vehicles will particpate in EMS World® Expo, the largest EMS-dedicated event in North America. In addition to co-sponsoring the Ambulance Marketplace, emergency vehicles from each brand will be on display at the Las Vegas Convention Center (West Hall) from September 11-13, 2024.

On Thursday, September 12 from 3:45 – 4:45pm, the Ambulance Marketplace will have REV Ambulance Group and Sound Off Signal sharing experienced insights to those with ambulance purchasing power, on how to research and do their due diligence when purchasing a new or redesigned ambulance. This will be followed by a Q&A session and is located in the Learning Center located in the Expo Exhibit Hall.

Each brand will have new customer ambulances on display including:

AEV at booth #2721 will have an ambulance from Taney County (MO) Ambulance District and an American Medical Response ambulance on display.
Horton Emergency Vehicles at booth #2821 will have emergency vehicles from Austin-Travis County (TX) EMS, Ada County (ID) Paramedics and North Jefferson County (MO) Ambulance District.
Wheeled Coach at booth #2421 will have its Demo Unit on display along with an ambulance from Orlando (FL) Fire Department.
Road Rescue Emergency Vehicles at booth #2620 will have an ambulance from Monongalia (WV) EMS and its newly launched RediMedic ambulance.
Leader Emergency Vehicles at booth #3029 will have ambulances on display from Premier Ambulance and Royal Ambulance, both are ambulance services in California.

BRISTOL, IN – September 10, 2024 – Rengade RV, pioneer of the Super C motorhome and part of REV Group, Inc., has opened its expansive Customer Experience Center in Elkhart, IN, nearby to its manufacturing facility in Bristol, IN. The Center will display MY25 motorized motorhomes from REV Recreational Vehicles Segment motorized brands Fleetwood RV®, Holiday Rambler®, American Coach®, Renegade RV™, and Midwest Automotive Designs™ at the Elkhart RV Dealer Open House from September 23 to 25.*

The new Renegade RV Customer Experience Center is just over 44,000 square feet and includes 10 service bays. Currently, the facility services Renegade RV products only and is operating six bays with 18 employees. When the Center is at full capacity, the team expects to have 29 employees. In addition, Renegade is planning to add a customer lounge next year, which will offer amenities such as showers and television.

“We are delighted to offer a dedicated Renegade RV service center for our customers that is close to Renegade’s headquarters and manufacturing facility,” said Jeremy Slinker, director of customer & product support, Renegade RV. “Equally, we are proud to host all the other motorized REV Group RV brands at our brand new center for the upcoming Dealer Open House. SNYDER, NE – August 29, 2024 – Smeal Holding, LLC, manufacturer of fire apparatus including aerials and part of REV Group Inc., is commemorating that its 1,000th 105’ aerial apparatus has been completed at its facility in Snyder, NE.

The 105’ Rear-Mount Aerial was built for the City of Wilmer (TX) Fire Department and is the first Smeal fire apparatus the department has ordered. The aerial has a unique cutout with illuminated ladder signs.

In 1964, Smeal Holding, LLC, built its first aerial apparatus, a 52’ ladder on an IH 1600 chassis with an extended cab for the Snyder Rural Fire District to support fighting grain elevator and chimney fires. This vehicle is currently on display at the Nebraska Firefighters Museum & Education Center in Kearny, NE.

Metro Fire Apparatus Specialists, Inc., based in Houston, TX, is The Smeal dealer working with the Wilmer Fire Department.
