Fleetwood RV Fortis 36Y and Holiday Rambler Invicta 36Y: Both the 2024 Fortis 36Y and Invicta 36Y set the new standard when it comes to family-friendly, thanks to the Kid Kave™, a unique feature that creates a fun hideaway at the rear of the coach. The Kid Kave provides children a perfectly cozy nook for hanging out, having slumber parties, and making memories. Featuring a balcony loft with a wardrobe and ample storage underneath, the Kid Kave also comes equipped with a jackknife sofa, additional wardrobe, swing LED TV and dedicated half-bathroom – helping make it a fun-filled retreat for kids of all ages. The living area also features well-appointed galley and family friendly seating. Outside you will find an exterior kitchenette with griddle and refrigerator.
Lance Camper
Lance will be providing dealers with a first-look experience and collecting feedback on an expansion of their travel trailer offering. They are resurrecting a past brand segment used previously in their truck camper line titled “Squire-By Lance”. The new Squire line of trailers will boast the quality construction Lance fans are used to, with features, appointments, and a price tag more accessible to a wider range of consumers.
Lance’s Enduro™ Adventure off-road trailer line has expanded to include an inside kitchen model for those who don’t like to cook outside in chillier weather. Both the 1200IK and 1200EK have an off-road independent suspension and can be towed by anything with a 4,500-pound tow capacity. The floorplan is a side kitchen with a front bedroom/dinette. A maneuverable Lagun swivel table can be used as a workstation or lounge area. The dinette converts into a bed.
Lance will also launch Mini Enduro™ at Open House. The trailer has many similar features as the larger floorplans, but in a more compact and lighter package. Features include an adjustable bed that turns into a sofa for an inside seating area and a porta potty. The exterior includes a portable kitchen, a pull-out Truma cooler refrigerator, and shower facilities. Versatile storage is provided by a 52”x54” Morryde roll out storage tray, which is accessible from the interior or exterior of the trailer.
Two flagship Lance-branded travel trailers will debut at Elkhart, including the 25-foot Lance 2565, the largest traditional travel trailer the company has built, centered around massive La-Z-Boy-style chairs. Additionally, a new 22-foot floorplan, Lance 2255, will be intriguing to those who highly value a spacious bathroom experience, as it features a wall-to-wall rear bath.
The 58-year-old truck camper manufacturer is also offering a first look at a new truck camper, the model 805. A lightweight full-size non-slide camper with an east-to-west bed targets the ½-ton truck market. This lightweight option will be an excellent solution for those wanting to go off-road, overland, tow, and achieve versatile travel on their ½-ton truck. Not at the show, but soon to follow, the 805 will have a smaller version of this floorplan released for mid-size trucks such as the Tacoma, Ranger, Frontier, etc.
Midwest Automotive Designs
Midwest Automotive Designs’ Passage®, built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis, features an upgraded kitchen galley with a stainless steel, deep-bowl sink, dual-burner induction cooktop, and drawers with dovetail construction and soft close. The quiet and efficient air conditioner is a15,000 BTU unit, able to blow air 25 degrees cooler than outside. The heating system provides hot water and heats the motorhome. The continuous hot water system means there is no limit on how much water can be heated. When the Passage is on the road, it uses the vehicle’s coolant system to pull heat for the cabin. In addition, the Passage has versatile lighting and a new Alpine sound system.
Renegade RV
The 2024 Renegade XL™ Super C motorhomes come in four models – the 43DB, 45DBM and 45QS sleep four with east-to-west king beds. The 45QS is a couple’s coach with an expanded cedar wardrobe, full vanity, and stacked washer-dryer. The 45BBC family bunk house sleeps seven and has two full baths and a larger kitchen. All floorplans include four slides. The Samsung Bespoke Family Hub Plus smart fridge features a 21-inch HD touchscreen, to watch TV, stream, and see what’s in the fridge remotely. The XL’s structure combines adjoining compartments underneath to create a double-wide passthrough, providing longitudinal storage for longer items such as tables, skis and fishing poles. The GVWR sits at 58,000 pounds and the XL models have a 30,000-pound hitch capacity.

BROOKFIELD, Wis – September 25, 2023 – REV Recreation Group announces strong show results at America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania. From September 13 – 17, 2023, customers were able to order and purchase new units from brands including Fleetwood RV®, Holiday Rambler®, American Coach®, Renegade RV™, Midwest Automotive Designs™, and Lance®.
“We had an excellent show at Hershey. The teams reported positive consumer feedback for our new floorplans and innovation across the brands,” said Mike Lanciotti, president, REV Recreation Group. “Hershey is a great lead into Open House in Elkhart. We’re looking forward to sitting down with our dealers and discuss how to keep the momentum strong.”
Renegade RV
The pioneer brand in Super Cs increased its sales by more than 70% from last year’s show. Most popular models included the Vienna®, Valencia®, Verona®, and Explorer®. Buyers were split 50/50 between first-time Renegade customers and current Renegade owners looking to trade up. Attendees reacted well to improved safety features such as the lane departure and collision mitigation on the Freightliner® chassis.
Lance Camper
Overall, interest in truck campers was strong, as was interest in Lance’s trailer line. The new off-road Enduro™ trailer was displayed for the first time at a traditional RV show in the East and received a lot of interest. Positive consumer feedback indicated the number of people planning on purchasing in the future has returned to pre-pandemic levels.
Fleetwood RV, Holiday Rambler, and American Coach
Fleetwood’s Class A Gas models performed very well, including the Bounder® as well as the Fortis® 36Y featuring the exclusive Kid Kave™ which received a lot of attention. Overall, Fleetwood had higher sales than last year, from a mix of first-time buyers and RV owners trading up.
Midwest Automotive Designs
Class B luxury sprinter van manufacturer Midwest Automotive Designs, had its second best-ever Hershey show, selling 15 models in total during the show.

JEFFERSON, NC – Sept. 18, 2023 – American Emergency Vehicles (AEV®), one of the nation’s leading ambulance providers, will showcase two highly customized critical care transport (CCT) ambulances at EMS World Expo in New Orleans, Louisiana from September 20-22, 2023, booth #1029. CCT is considered the highest level of patient care for the most critically injured or ill patients. The ambulances are designed to accommodate the extra equipment required when transporting patients in critical condition.
“We want to thank both the Kite Flight Specialty Transport Team of Covenant Children’s Hospital (Lubbock, Texas) and the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children (Orlando, Florida) for partnering with us on the design of these exceptional ambulances and for allowing us to display them at this important EMS industry event,” said Randy Barr, director of sales, AEV. “We are also grateful to the AEV dealers involved in these sales, namely SERVS, LLC and ETR, LLC, respectively,” added Barr.
The Covenant Children’s Hospital ambulance was built on a Ford® F-550 chassis with an extended 205” wheelbase and LiquidSpring® suspension systems installed on both the front and rear of the vehicle. Other features include automatic snow chains, an additional external condenser mounted in arctic wedge on the front of the body, a BigTex™ front grille guard, a secondary engine-driven HVAC compressor, a HALO LED® light rail in the patient compartment, dual patient compartment switch panels, an Onan® diesel generator, a rear entertainment system including TV and DVD player, ergonomic interior CCT design with EVS executive seating, solid surface countertops and Halo edge floor lighting.
The Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children CCT unit was built on a crew cab Freightliner® chassis with a 206” long X 98” wide body. Features include a roof mounted external condenser with branch protection, lighted skirt rails, electric entry doorstep, prep for an AeroClave® decontamination system as well as ActivTek INDUCT® 500. The Arnold Palmer vehicle also features an additional AC system mounted on the roof, a turn signal/backup/patient compartment camera system, a Stadco® diesel generator and a Firecom® communication system. The interior of this unit also features a specific CCT design to meet the needs of the customer, including EVS executive seating, multiple drawers, solid surface countertops, dual suction systems and dual Norcold® refrigerators.
Both vehicles feature dual Stryker® Power-LOAD® systems with one system being transverse on the bulkhead.

The cab interior has a custom console, and the interior of the patient compartment features electric privacy windows, Rocket® Wi-Fi, a Knox MedVault® for drug storage, a mobile medical cabinet with heating and cooling, a tip out for D cylinder storage built into the bulkhead. The exterior includes an additional AC compressor and Cool-Bar® for optimum crew and patient comfort, Buell Air Horns®, a Buckstop front bumper, Alcoa® aluminum rims, a Plymovent® exhaust tip and SCBA brackets. The Flower Mound ambulance is equipped with a Safety Vision® camera system and a Global Traffic Technologies® Multi-Mode High Priority Opticom™ system, plus exclusive Road Rescue LED strip lighting in the interior and on the exterior rub rails and chevron lighting on the back of the ambulance.
The Road Rescue RediMedic ambulance on display will be a Type 1 Ford F-550 with a 170” module. RediMedic is coming to market soon and will be offered in Type 1 and Type 3 configurations. This ambulance delivers the best of all worlds with an easy-to-spec, preconfigured design to deliver optimal pre-hospital care by maximizing comfort, functionality, and efficiency.
